Flying high

Nestled in the majestic Hottentots Holland Reserve in the Elgin Valley of Grabouw (45min drive from Caledon) sits the gem that is Cape Canopy Tours.

Any adrenaline junkie and nature enthusiast's dream. This zipline course is one of the longest in South Africa, spanning over 2.5km and the adventure lasts for 4 and

a half hours, starting with a half hour 4x4 drive deep into the Hottentots Holland Mountains, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage site, to reach the first of eleven lines.

Each line will transport you from one picturesque scene to the next. You can marvel at fynbos, waterfalls and bird life all the while flying high.

The guides are friendly, knowledgeable, professional and makes one feel super safe at all times.

A 1km hike up the valley will take you back to the pick up point.

This adventure is kid friendly (kids from 5 years old, tandem zipping can be requested) and even elderly friendly. An added bonus is that after your first zip you will be able to zip on them (for free, mahala) on your birthday hence forth.
